Hello friend! Welcome to February! Thanks for turning in here! This is where we come to gain understanding of the things we need to put in place and in proper perspective to enjoy the glorious life Father GOD has for us. So this month of February has been named by GOD for me as the month of consecration. To be consecrated means to be set apart for a holy and noble use! It means being specially preserved and reserved for GOD’s purposes. It means that one belongs totally to GOD. So when GOD spoke this to my heart, just in the second month of the year that He called the year of dwelling in His presence, then it means that He means business and He is stepping up a notch on the journey in the year. This has caused me to begin to reflect on my life and has gingered me to be even more deliberate in the way I live my days.
Consecration will happen faster and better when powered by intimacy. This means that the Father would want His children to continue to prioritize personal times of fellowship with Him so that we can be conformed to His image. It means there is a certain level of care that is expected, a code of conduct as it were and a mindset that one must graduate to. One must begin to see oneself as seen by GOD. 1 Peter 2:9 reiterates who and whose you are! You are chosen…you are of a royal lineage…you are a holy nation…you are peculiar…you are raised to proclaim GOD’s praises! Father GOD has brought you out of darkness into light, hence, shine!!!
As you and I make up our minds to be set apart for our Father’s esteemed use, my prayer is that we would be fully yielded and worthy vessels unto honour and may this decision bring an everlasting generationaal blessing in the name of JESUS CHRIST +Amen.
