Hello friend! Thanks for turning in here! This is where we come to gain understanding of the things we need to put in place and in proper perspective to enjoy the glorious life Father GOD has for us. Please do ensure you put in your comments. I would love to read your thoughts too!
Today, dear friends, let’s start from this scripture in Job 14:7-9(NKJV)
“For there is hope for a tree, If it is cut down, that it will sprout again, And that its tender shoots will not cease. Though its root may grow old in the earth, And its stump may die in the ground, Yet at the scent of water it will bud And bring forth branches like a plant.”

Hope is defined as a feeling of expectation and desire for a particular thing to happen. Tom Bodett shared a saying and it has now become a quote referenced against his name: “a person needs just three things to be truly happy in this world: someone to love, something to do, and something to hope for.” I love this particular quote because it is referenced alongside the concept of love. How do you hope for the best about something or someone you have no love for or interest in? How do you hope for or show belief in something or someone you do not believe in deep down? For your hope to be alive and active, there must be a measure of love!
Yes, you may struggle with finding and holding onto hope but when you are assuaged by hopelessness, remember the word in Jeremiah 29:11 specifically spoken for and to you!
“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans TO GIVE YOU HOPE and a future.”
It is in GOD’s plan and agenda for you not to be hopeless but He needs you and I to constantly see and remember His good word to us.
What an assurance as given by the Father to us in the scriptures above! Dear friend, this is GOD’s word to you and to me today! See the lining of hope before you. See the tiny ray of possibility and let this encourage you to reach out and take a chance on hope, as given, released, by the Father. It may seem you are down and out…there is yet hope! When you can’t make sense of anything…reach out on hope boulevard!
Let me leave you with the words in Hebrews 6:19:
“This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary.”
Yes! This is what you and I stand to benefit even as we anchor on this hope found in the love of GOD. Keep hope alive beloved friend! I love and honour you!
