Welcome to a new week beloved. It is the third week in the new year and I am excited because I am assured that the ministry of the Trinity will be made available to us as we navigate it and the week shall come bearing good fruit and good news for us and all ours in righteousness in the name of JESUS CHRIST Amen.
Thanksgiving is in order to our Father who has brought us safely to another day and the beginning of another working week. The year is still very much new and with the dawn of each new day is a fresh opportunity to make the best of the days in the year. From our scriptural reference of today in Proverbs 26:11, the New King James Version, we are told: “As a dog returns to his vomit, so a fool repeats his folly.” Reading this verse alone should spur us into a resolve to shun every practice of foolishness that makes us want to keep repeating bad cycles of behaviours that have not moved us forward on the journey of our lives.
Let us be encouraged today dear friends to embrace daily and constant introspection. Let us look into the different areas of our lives that we have not been exhibiting high levels of wisdom and which we have been performing less than what we desire and let us make up our mind by the help of the Holy Spirit not to repeat past mistakes or old cycles that have not moved us forward.
What are your areas of struggle? Finances? Relationships? Character? Integrity? Or basically fleshly desires and struggles such as envy, jealousy, and many untoward struggles too numerous to mention? Identify them all and begin to seek avenues in GOD that can help you be rid of these areas of weakness. Help is available for us in GOD! We only need to go to Him to obtain it! He will show us as we seek His face for it.
“GOD’s word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.” (Psalm 119:105) As we progress into the new year, we must ensure that foolishness in any way is far from us! Let us embrace the wisdom that is available in GOD’s word and instructions to navigate the course of our new year.
My prayer for you and I today? May we not go back to our vomit! May we not repeat past cycles of mistakes and errors! May we embrace the wisdom that is available for us to do and be better in those areas of struggle in the name of JESUS CHRIST! Amen.
Keep winning and overcoming those overwhelming struggles beloved! You and I are winners already! I see you ditching victoriously by the power of the Holy Spirit every call to return to foolishness.
